I have just one reaction to that whole episode and it is this:

PLEASE SOMEBODY JOIN ME IN SHIPPING RYAN WITH RILEY FINN JEREMY. HOLY CRAP RYAN IS SO IN LOVE WITH HIM! The standing close! THE LONGING STARES. OMG RYAN, HONEY. IF YOU ARE ANY MORE OBVIOUS ESPOSITO IS GOING TO GET JEALOUS ENOUGH TO KICK THIS GUY'S ASS.

OMG, I'm not alone in this? That's so good to know!

Honestly, though, Ryan being all gentle-like and caring? I mean, I always suspected, but... yeah, he was really obvious about it all. :) Esposito is going to sit him down for a looong talk after this. Spanking may be involved, but I'm not sure about that.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE! In fact, fandom means you are pretty much never alone. BUT ESPECIALLY NOT THIS TIME. <3 <3 <3

OMG, RYAN, so gentle! So concerned! IDK if Esposito is going to be more RARRRGH JEALOUS or like "Well, at least he probably won't call you EVERY HOUR."

I've been trying to think back, which is kind of hard, but... seriously, I don't think we've ever seen Ryan this soft-spoken and... and just generally soft. With anyone. Ever.

As for Esposito... I envision a world in which he isn't jealous, but understands that a person can love more than one reasonably cute guy. :) In that same world, Jeremy would realize that there's no way that weird memory gap thing between him and the ex cannot be crossed, go back to the one place where he kind of knows people and everything would end very happy indeed.

In reality, Esposito would probably just clam up and be all "Yeah whatever, he's going home with his ex anyway, so there", then he'd go home by himself and make Ryan work for his forgiveness. :)

OH MY GOD YES.

I made Slod save the ep on the TiVo so I could come back and write some late-night snogging for those two.

YAY YAY YAY OMG. I rewatched bits of it this morning, including the end where Ryan CANNOT TEAR HIS EYES AWAY FROM JEREMY AND IS BEGGING BECKETT AND CASTLE TO TELL HIM THAT HIS BOYFRIEND IS NOT REALLY GOING TO GET BACK TOGETHER WITH HIS EX. BECAUSE SERIOUSLY.

Maybe they broke up because Jeremy realized he's GAY. At least for pretty blue-eyed detective types? Please?

Other commitments! Life in general! All getting in the way of me thinking about the love of Ryan and his amnesiac shooting-victim boyfriend.

(Is their smoosh name Rywick? Please? :D?)
