Vorkosigan Fic: Always Breaking Everything

Always Breaking Everything (5050 words) by Dira Sudis
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Vorkosigan Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Jole/Aral Vorkosigan, Aral Vorkosigan/Cordelia Naismith Vorkosigan
Characters: Aral Vorkosigan, Jole, Cordelia Naismith Vorkosigan
Additional Tags: Jealousy

"It's not that I want details," Aral said, keeping his voice even, reasonable. "I just want a little peace of mind--to know when I can expect to be tripping over someone who might proposition you, you know. Can you tell me how many of them there are, at least?"

This story, and the rest of this series, proceed according to my original plan for them, without reference to any spoilers for Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen.

This story is therefore safe for the unspoiled reader, but I suspect the comment section will not be. Caveat lector.

Many thanks to commodorified for beta, and to Rubynye, Petra, Ellen Fremedon, and Iulia for audiencing and encouraging me through the "oh no, no, this story is a terrible idea" stage. <3

Title, as usual, from the Mountain Goats cover of "Two-Headed Boy."

OMG two stories for the price of one. I just clicked on the series tag to read "A Loyal Armsman Does Not Gossip," which may be my favorite, and discovered that you traveled into the past to post "Rocks in the Pathway" in 2012 which I have somehow never before seen or read even though I have read this whole series several times over. "Rocks" may also now be my new favorite, because Arcady + Cordelia = love forever.

Definitely. It's ok, you don't have to pretend, here. Your secret is safe with us.

I can't believe you started writing it in 2010, I've been following your work since well before it started. It doesn't feel like I've been in fandom that long. Thank you for your words and stories, they've been really important to me.
