Got a new credit card today - I am now a Diamond Preferred cardmember at the "same competitive credit line and interest rate," i.e. "We like you so much that all we're giving you is a newer more shinier piece of plastic that you have to call and activate so we can pitch some services you don't want."
OTOH, it's really shiny. The shiniest credit card I've ever had. I can see myself in it.

...which is to say, yeah, I'm going to be diligently writing at Write Club tonight. Provided that "diligently writing," means "staring vacantly into space, playing spider solitaire, and talking about WorldCon, the cafe employees, politics, comic books, and anything else that crosses my or my fellow Clubbers' minds."
