Wow. Just. WOW.
My love for House is restored. If they just deal with the Chase issue properly in the last four, I will consider the Vogler arc completely and utterly worth it just for that conversation in Wilson's office. HIS JOB and HOUSE are the ONLY THINGS WORKING IN HIS LIFE. OMG. And he sounded so betrayed. (And that first "Where's Wilson?" from House, in the scene before - if that wasn't plaintive, I will eat my proverbial hat.) And the--the pain in both of them, right there on their faces, knowing this was where it foundered, knowing this was going to break them and there was nothing they could do.
And FOREMAN! BAITING CHASE! And Chase putting on his game face for patients! I'm not saying Chase is out of the doghouse, but I didn't want to stab him in his little blond head for a lot of the episode tonight, which is progress. ALSO, FOREMAN!! OMG!
And House! Yelling at Vogler! Clutching the husband's arm and forcing him to make the right decision!
I am just *flailing* with inarticulate love. So of course next week we get a rerun.
