And a note to anybody who cares: Fox is re-airing last week's pre-empted OC episode next week at eight, followed by the new episode at nine.
First off: w00t for torturing Chase! Hurray for continuity and not letting him off the hook, and also hurray for Chase getting a haircut and lots of closeups on his pretty eyes. Just because he's in the doghouse doesn't mean he can't continue to serve a decorative function.
Similarly, I love that Cuddy isn't letting House off the hook - and that she drops it and snaps to the instant he tells her the situation is actually dire enough to warrant it.
Also, am v. entertained that the show has caught up with its own criticism and pulled out the meta stops on cleavage and high heels.
Foreman was awesome this episode - the hallway! The MORGUE! He was pretty much the EveryDucklingMachine tonight, and pulled it off well.
Wilson! Chaperoning House's interviews! And trying to play like he knows Prada when he sees it!
And House himself, of course. It always gets me when he does something like actually respect patient confidentiality.
...which just leaves Cameron.
Look, Cam, honey. I will totally sit on your couch with you and eat ice cream and talk about your crazy crush on your (ex-)boss. That's what girlfriends are for, and I'm there. But when you tell me about how you extorted a date out of your once and future boss? I'm going to start figuring out if I can koff "sexual harassment." Lovingly. As a friend. Because you're being an IDIOT.
