holy crap!

I occasionally joke that shows like due South and The Sentinel were too successful for me to be interested in them when they came out: my taste ran to anything doomed to air fewer than ten episodes before being summarily yanked from its network. Covington Cross, whence I first fell in love with Glenn Quinn. The Burning Zone, a show about an Ebola-survivor virologist and a sentient virus and a slate-wiper outbreak conspiracy thing. Roar, which was mainly interesting because it featured Heath Ledger in leather pants.

And which airs, one Friday a month in eight-hour blocks, on the SciFi Channel. This includes five episodes labeled as 'SciFi Premiere Episodes,' which presumably means they never did make it onto - what was it, Fox? - back in 1997.

Roar! On the SciFi Channel! You can even sign a petition to get it released on DVD!

Or just mock me. Whichever you find more entertaining. I have to go set my VCR.
