Fic: Find Out What It Means (Pete/Patrick, NC-17)

misspamela and I were passing through the same fandom (The OC, if you must know). In fact, I only posted one story in that fandom, and it was a fairly miserable hooker AU. Miss P was horrified by what I'd done to those sweet boys and fired back with a much happier hooker AU.
So this summer I got to bandom, and Miss P was already here, and shortly thereafter she posted her awesome hooker!Pete story, Repair Anything Bought, Sold, or Processed. So obviously I had to write a bandom hookerfic, and obviously it had to be just a little bit grimmer than Miss P's. And here it is! My very first Pete/Patrick story, and it's hookerfic. \o/
I have to thank lots and lots of people for this one, because I leaned on just about everyone I know in the process of writing it.kalpurna was possibly the very first person to hear the whole story in rambling IM form, and her enthusiasm got me going. strangecobwebs listened to me go on and on and on about it on countless commutes. makesmewannadie will probably disclaim responsiblity, but in a contrary way this story probably did come out of that conversation where I swore to her that I wouldn't write rape-survivor!Patrick. Literally every fannish person I speak to on IM has heard about this in the last month, so thank you and I'm sorry about that. *g*
missmollyetc did the comprehensive beta, and iuliamentis, misspamela, and thelionforreal all gave me input on the pieces of story I spammed at them over IM. Thank you all! You are awesome and I wouldn't and couldn't have done this without you.
