Viva la Cobra!
I tried to buy the new Cobra album at my local independent record store, but they didn't have it and I wanted it OMGRIGHTNOW, so I went to Target (after getting a Mountain Goats album at the CDepot, to salve my conscience) and got it (along with a sweater, a hoodie, two t-shirts, earplugs, printer paper, and travel-sized deodorant, because I cannot leave Target without buying at least three items I didn't intend to buy when I walked in).
I've already listened to the album several times, thanks to the internets, so I pretty much just dropped my twelve bucks for the jewel case that says produced by Patrick Stump on it (I, uh, may have hugged it when I picked it up and saw that printed right on the back next to the copyright warning) and the liner notes. As it turns out, the liner notes fold out into a poster, which I am painfully tempted to hang up on my wall, though it would clash a bit with the Panic poster and the My Chem art card thingy. But maybe that's the point.
Anyway, having actually sat here and read all the white-on-black text of the liner notes and gone nearly blind, I've got two names under Thank You that made me go huh:
Bruce McDonald
Adrian Grenier
So. Huh.
Also, I think Nate may belong to the Juniors/Thirds/Fifths club, as there are a Nate & Eileen Novarro in the thank-yous.
