Addendum to intermittent actual-life update: party!
So, in eleven days I depart the DC area for Wisconsin (and, hooray, a job) - hopefully I will soon have secured an actual place to live when I get there, but, you know. Baby steps.

strangecobwebs and bayleaf are throwing me a party! It's this coming Sunday, July 20, starting about 4pm and ending whenever they get sick of fangirls crowding into their home and kick us all out.
I promise you do not have to let me win the spelling bee. You just have to be prepared for me to be bitter for another two years if I lose in a stupid way.
Anyway! I know nothing about the actual logistics of the party, so if you want to come and say hello and goodbye, the link above is the place to RSVP/get directions/etc.
And now I am going to go try to wash party post off my left thumb (where I have, of course, taken to keeping my to-do list lately). Wish me luck.
