A lesson I apparently just have to relearn periodically:
Anytime I (want to) reply to a beta by waving my hands and yelling THAT'S THE POINT! or, worse, YOU'RE READING IT WRONG!--I need to shut up and start rewriting. I am writing it wrong. Arguing just means I will be up later figuring out how to fix it.
