I'm trying to figure out why I didn't watch Due South when it was first on - I remember hearing about it (although I had the impression that the show was set somewhere further west; if I'd known it was in Chicago, I think it might have been more appealing, though God knows why that should make a difference) and I did have a knack for jumping on shows that never did locate a target audience...

Covington Cross (the Medieval family drama! Ione Skye and Glenn Quinn and no research!)
Nothing Sacred (Kevin J. Anderson!)
Roar (Heath Ledger! Leather pants!)
LA Firefighters (No, I *don't* know what I was thinking...)
The Last Frontier (Don't actually even remember watching it, but I've got written evidence.)
Strange Luck (DB Sweeney! With the random cross-network X-Files tie-in in the last episode!)
The Burning Zone (Conspiracies and sentient virii!)
The American Embassy (England!)

... So I guess Due South was just too successful and mainstream for me.
