This just completely knocked me on my ass. I have nothing but luminous praise for you. I was thoroughly enjoying it, and then Castiel put the book in Dean's hands and I don't think I have read anything so hungrily in ages. Something about Castiel reciting in Hebrew as Dean reads is intensely compelling. I'm pleasantly reminded of this amazing scene in Angels in America, but this is not that scene and it is potent and beautiful even without that point of reference.
