I just watched twenty episodes of Leverage in a single day but, much like Nate Ford, okay, I do not have a problem.

Well, okay, I do have a problem. The problem is that I have run out of episodes to watch and have to wait until Wednesday for more. THAT IS A PROBLEM.



GO AWAY TARA I DON'T CARE HOW MANY TIMES YOU PROVE YOURSELF TO BE KIND OF AWESOME I WANT SOPHIE BACK. YOU ARE JUST THE BABYSITTER, YOU ARE NOT THE MOM. EVEN IF YOU WERE COOL WITH TALKING PARKER THROUGH THAT THING AND EVEN IF YOU GET ALL FIGHTY AND IMPRESS ELIOT AND WHATEVER. GO AWAY YOU ARE NOT SOPHIE.

I agree - I want to like her but I can't stop resenting her for not being Sophie...

Don't worry: there's a third season! Sophie will be back soon!

Do you ever get the feeling that Tara is sort of, a little into Parker? Like, not some huge thing, just something about her body language and the fact that she's very professional with everyone, but just a little bit more involved when it's Parker?

I kind of like that she's clearly not Sophie, that she doesn't fill Sophie's role in the group, doesn't try to. She's professional, not antagonistic and not trying to ingratiate herself with them. I approve of that.

I am in almost exactly the same boat! Well, I mean, it took me three days because my downloads kept crapping out, but those three days were Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. IT IS SO GREAT! WHY DO WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL WEDNESDAY FOR MORE?

Also I agree about Tara.

I think it's more of Tara wanting, like, girl-bonding. Or Tara having been told specifically to look after Parker for Sophie. Uh, that is the interpretation that doesn't hurt my brain, anyway. *g*

I feel kind of bad not liking Tara, but then I feel like the show is setting us up not to like her too much--she's a temp, we're not supposed to turn into Team Tara and not want Sophie back. Also, Tara doesn't have a Thing She Absolutely Can't Do To Save Her Life, unlike the rest of the team. She doesn't need a team, which means this can never be real to her, or matter to her, the way it matters to them--she doesn't want to be really one of them, and that is why I cannot accept her as one of them and so badly want Sophie back instead.
