Here is an observation about my brain:
I always feel MUCH WEIRDER writing something that is sort of WTF if it's gen. If there's a pairing, or better yet if there's porn, I feel like any amount of WTF can be justified because, hey! There's porn.
A story about tiny Amelia Pond saving the universe in a way it did not, in canon, actually need saving, though--IDK, I feel all weird and self-indulgent.
Possibly this is just because I hate writing porn, and gen is just like the most elaborate strategy ever for not having to write the porn. These are my thoughts on a Thursday morning when I should really probably be doing some work.
