Thank you! I feel certain that there were some (boring) socks in my childhood Christmases too--but on the other hand, but on the other hand for years, every Christmas my grandparents gave everyone a set of sheets and, for the adults, a jumbo roll of brightly-colored trash bags. AND WE LOVED IT. So.... clearly whimsical designs are the key? :)
