Here via TFV's rec, and oh, wow. Just. Wow. This is so amazing I'm not sure I even have words for it. I'm not familiar with A Companion to Wolves, but you've crafted such a lovely and thought-out world that it works just as well without prior knowledge of both canons. Your characters are absolutely spot-on (your Ray is perfect), and I love the complexity between Brad and Nate and Frost and Bo especially. I am super glad to see that you're writing more!
