Seriously, lady, you're spoiling us. I've never even watched GK, but I did track down and read the Monette/Bear books because of your fic (I may also have spent a lot of time reading GK fic because of you, where 'a lot' equals 'all the hours').

I live in a vague sort of hope that your fannish streams will cross, too, because a TW/GK/Wolf-brother fusion would be ace in any direction and iteration.

This post has completely made my night.

I just watched GK for the first time over the past two weeks, and just started reading fic for it over the weekend. I'm completely obsessed with it at the moment because I found after watching the series that it's a perfect example - at least in my mind - of how seeing slash is about way more than just getting two good looking guys naked and sweaty together. I've known what Nate and Brad look like since GK fic and icons started popping up on my flist a few years ago, but until I saw their dynamic in the series, I had no interest in the fic whatsoever. Now I seem to have acquired a new OTP completely out of the blue.

Anyway - I just ploughed through the Wolfbrother series on AO3 in the past five hours, and was very sad when I thought that there wasn't going to be any more after I read Part 6...I'm so, so thrilled there's going to be more of this engaging, caretaking, hilarious, series that I can't even articulate it. And now I'm going to stop gushing all over your journal.
