This week in writing, 9/30
I FINISHED WRITING THE BOOK YOU GUYS.
I wrote a bit over 15,000 words of book this week, and, uh, continued to spend more time playing Stardew Valley than writing fic (Farmer Chidi and Haley are engaged!!!! and oh man I don’t usually do a ton of Haley’s dialogue/friend scenes but I was VERY RIGHT about her being Stardew Valley’s Eleanor. Farmer Chidi is not particularly in character as Chidi because I couldn’t bear to lose him friendship points through Kantian Honesty but whatever, The Good Farm really IS his good place, okay).
Also, I wrote some fic!
Words written this week: 2,938
WIPs that got words this week:
There Is No Shortage of Blood: 1,657, which included finishing Chapter 54! So I’m gonna post it today!! :D

Underage Child Soldier Omega!Bucky/Alpha!Cap!Steve Marriage of Last Resort Fic: 590
Bitty pre-series fic for Psychic Wolves for Lupercalia 2018 2019 maybe soon?: 575, OKAY SO WHAT HAPPENED IS, I had abandoned this story in early March, because I got stuck but mostly because… depression… but the other day @sineala posted a reply to an ask about what the heck is going on with the wolfbrother AU phenomenon, in which she tagged me, and I was like “huh, you know, I wrote like 4,000 words about Eric Bittle getting a wolf before I trailed off, I want to reread that.” And then I reread it to the point where I got stuck in March, realized I could delete one paragraph and NOT make this a much wilder AU than I intended it to be, and … did that? and wrote some stuff? (And reread a whole bunch of Every Marine a Wolfbrother because I had just finished writing an entire novel and my brain was tired and sometimes you just want to reread your own fic for the mental equivalent of taking a nice nap without actually having to get to sleep, don’t judge me.) So anyway that’s what happened and now it’s, like, super close to being finished, so I might finish it? Maybe people will want to read it?? WHO KNOWS. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE NOT CRUSHINGLY DEPRESSED.
