Preparing the Insanity Defense
Please let it be understood that in the days leading up to the unfortunate assault on her mother with a salt shaker at 7pm on Friday evening, the defendant:
1. Wrote, and posted to the internet, Fraser/Vecchio.
2. Made a conscious decision to watch several minutes of a Sentinel episode.
3. Showed a morbid fascination with the failing mental health of a fictional character to whom she remains abnormally attached.
3. Made a point of checking a book on locusts out of the library.
4. Persisted in wearing a black hoodie in obvious defiance of the reality of November 3.
5. Went to meet her mother to help her write a term paper for her theology class.
The defense rests.
