Today, after going to the public library to get my library card, picking up three Bruno and Boots books and offloading a sack of books and a sack of canned goods, I went to Borders and bought the Original Six Series Red Wings DVD. It's a 4-disc (double-sided, but their packaging still doesn't suck as hard as Alliance's) set including five full-length games. They're the top five fan favorite games, and number one is the slugging match (both literally and figuratively - eleven goals scored between the two teams, and at least that many fights) of March 26, 1997, between the Red Wings and the Colorado Avalanche. This game just aired Thursday night, edited down to two hours for rebroadcast, but, mmmmmm. Hockey. Fights. Hugs. I think I may well be inflicting screencaps upon you all later.

I wonder how many of siblings would like this for Christmas...?
