My Numb3rs/Atlantis crossover story, Classified (35k) is done and up at my website. It's gen and all-ages appropriate aside from a few stray curse words. Big thanks to
iuliamentis for beta work and to
byob_kenobi for answering my random Atlantis questions, and to anyone else who listened to me rabbit on (and on) about this in the last few days.
Don,
Everything's fine. Don't worry about me. I'm having a great time.
Charlie
I usually try not to explain or apologize much when announcing fic, but I feel like I should say something about this one. The crossover split is about 90/10 Numb3rs/Atlantis. It's probably completely possible to read it without knowing anything at all about Atlantis, and likely to be really unsatisfying to read if you only know Atlantis. It's set vaguely post-season for both Numb3rs and Atlantis, and since I'm largely unspoiled it's all speculative.
Also, now seems like a good time to explain the disclaimer-ish aspect of my icon. The text comes from a line of Charlie's regarding why he's not working on a case even though Don needs his help: Please, understand, sometimes I can't choose what I work on. I can't follow through on a line of thinking just because I want to, or, or because it's needed. I have to work on what's in my head. And right now, this is what's in my head.
Both Charlie and I can, at times, pull our acts together and choose to work on something necessary, but... well, this is what's in my head.
viggorlijah, feel free to regard this as a birthday gift, no further echo required. *g*
