An educational evening.
Things I learned tonight:
1) My father looks rather horrifying and really tall as a woman. Horrifying is, I think, self-explanatory; I'm not sure whether the really tall part was an effect of the orange pantsuit, the enormous rack, or some kind of different visual yardstick for the heights of people with boobies.
2) If you should find yourself driving home just about your bedtime--with an hour to go before you get to anywhere you can sleep or pee--and your passenger is dozing beside you, and you are so tired you are having trouble focusing your eyes, one of the better possible things to have happen is for your car to give a little stutterlurch, as though it were about to stall while doing 80 in the rain at midnight down 275, though it in fact does no such thing. The OMGWTFISTHECARDYING? adrenaline rush will keep you alert and functional for the rest of the drive.
