So, it turns out that this whole Due South fandom thing? Is based on a TV show! And there are all these episodes of the TV show, that, if you are so lucky as to have access to them on tape, you can watch. On your local friendly television. It's actually pretty amazing.

So. Highlights from the last few days of watching Season 3 Due South episodes (skipping all the parts where I fall to my knees and thank God for Kellie, who sent me the tapes...)

1. Ray is a dork. Under his very thin, sometimes transparent, veneer of cool, Ray Kowalski is a giant, giant dork. And somehow he carries it off anyway (I mean, he says 'homes' to gang members, and they don't bitch-slap him, so, there you have it). So now I love him even more.

1a. RayK knows who and where RayV is, although no one else does. Huh.

2. Fraser, in interpersonal relationship type stuff, occasionally needs to be beaten with a mallet before he adjusts his assumptions about what's going on.

2a. Fraser said 'but that's not why I'm in the closet,' and I laughed and laughed...

3. Okay, and I cannot believe I'm typing this, but, at the end of "Perfect Strangers," I had a total moment of awwwww for the Fraser/Thatcher thing. It was so sweet and so patently impossible at the same time. Just. Awwwwww.

And, oh. In "Spy vs. Spy," when Fraser is rattling around the back of Pike's car? And Pike is played by wossname that played Floyd Lucas in Cold Comfort? Yeah, that was a little creepier for me than it was probably intended to be.
