For Bruce Schneier, quanta only have one state : afraid.
Via Kung Fu Monkey: Bruce Schneier Facts. They're in the style of Chuck Norris Facts (right down to the artfully photoshopped banner images). From the facts, I gather that Bruce Schneier is a god among men in the field of cryptography, so I am mostly being entertained by the fact that there are Bruce Schneier facts, although, really, how much context do you need before
Mostly, though, I giggle when reading them because I think of Charlie Eppes reading them (and submitting his own). I'm sure he'd find them hilariously funny, and then not be able to explain to his father and brother what he was laughing at. He'd keep trying, and then he'd start to explain and just crack up again, until they both finally gave in and wandered off; even then they'd hear, from the living room, periodic bursts of deranged laughter.

qe2 emailed me a link to a NY Times story about a reclusive Russian mathematician failing to show up to receive the Fields medal my immediate reaction was BRUCE SCHNEIER KNOWS WHERE GRIGORI PERELMAN IS!
(Charlie Eppes just wishes he knew where Grigori Perelman is. He totally has a sekrit intellectual crush, complete with a drawerful of articles and clippings. He's learned numerous fragments of badly-accented Russian to try out on Perelman if they should ever just happen to meet. Rumors that he has occasionally doodled Charles Eppes-Perelman on his papers during department meetings are, however, wildly exaggerated. Everyone knows Charlie has never attended a department meeting.)
