Two Numb3rs-y things
The first thing is
A) Episode nine, JOSHUA MALINA AS THE NEXT PROSECUTOR DON WORKS WITH. And as
spikedluv points out, WE ALL KNOW DON'S TRACK RECORD WITH FEDERAL PROSECUTORS. Also, Joshua Malina!!1! On Numb3rs!!1!1!
...I wonder what he sounds like when he's not scripted by Aaron Sorkin. Hmm.
2) Kathy Najimy as the head of the Math/Physics division at CalSci, i.e. Charlie's boss. I'm not sure what to think of this, not because I have anything against Kathy Najimy (my shameful, profound love of Sister Act is... shameful and profound), but I don't know that I trust this show with her. Or anyone, actually. Hell, I get nervous just knowing they're airing an episode every week.
Second thing is, uh, Second, a drabble (or triple-drabble, for strict 100-worders) for the Sister challenge over at
numb3rs100.
I keep feeling like I should apologize for this story (to
iuliamentis if no one else, as she womanfully refrained from stabbing me in the face through the internet when I kept bugging her for input on three hundred little words). It's gen, but angsty even by my standards.
There's a gap of almost sixty-two months between Don's birth and Charlie's. I'm sure there are lots and lots of benign explanations for that, but... this is the one I wrote: Second.
