Artist who has never done a thing I won't listen to: Dar Williams

Song that I love because of a happy memory: Laura's was dad-related, so the only one I can think of now is Rainbow Connection (by, uh, Kermit), which my dad used to sing to us.
Song that is forever tainted because of negative associations: Does unnecessary personal melodrama count? "Paper Bag" by Fiona Apple = walking around in the rain in Oxford, pining for an unattainable classmate.
Song or Artist that I am ashamed to admit I enjoy: Avril Lavigne. I think the worst is that sometimes I say this, and people say 'Why?' As in, why am I ashamed, not why do I like the music of a faux-punk teenie whose music is the soundtrack of my baby brother's love life. But she's Canadian, so maybe it's okay.
