Driving home from my grandparents' house today after doing the Father's Day thing, I was listening to my 'only new rock alternative' radio station, which is actually based in Canada and thus plays a lot of relatively low profile Canadian indie music. I wasn't really paying attention until I heard the DJ say "by Billy Talent," at which point I stared at the radio, but, of course, he didn't say anything else on the topic.

So it turns out there's a Canadian indie rock/punk group called "Billy Talent," named after Billy Tallent of Hard Core Logo (I checked - it says so right on their noisily flash-intro'd website, if you scroll way down to the bottom of their bio.)
