Hi! Holy crap!
I have two computers! I went and picked up a package after work today and it was the computer that I ordered last week, because apparently when you are an adult with a job and credit cards you are allowed to just BUY A NEW COMPUTER if you really want to. I had no idea!
That's dear darling Stanley Raymond Daniel Alec Illya Spike "Blondo" Hutchinson on the left, and shiny baby Indiana (he objected to being called Junior, you see) on the right.
Photo taken with my phone (I have figured out how to take pictures with my phone, too--it's a brave new world) and I am posting this even now from Indy, who has so far only threatened to crash once. Oh, Windows Vista. This is going to be exciting, I can tell.
Now is not a good time to tell me I should have bought some other kind of computer that I did not buy (but if you are also running Vista and have advice other than "format your hard drive and install something else" I would be happy to hear it). I am finding myself oddly at peace with all the fancy shading and even - gasp! - rounded corners. They seem somehow appropriate to Indy's shiny newness. Also, I can run screaming back to Blondo, XP, and right angles any time I please.
Also, if you know where I could find a sound clip of "We named the dog Indiana" I would be most grateful.
