let's call this the *first* time I got hurt today, just in case...

Okay, I admit, it doesn't actually look that impressive (I also skinned my knee a bit, through skirt and stocking, and whacked myself in the face, which left a couple of temporary welts). But it was one of those maximally ridiculous falls where you're carrying a box of books and papers and wearing a long skirt and heels, and you start to stumble, think you've recovered, and then stagger sideways across the entire width of the concrete walk and pitch headlong onto the grass, books flying everywhere.

Um. I mean. We've all done that, right?

On the bright side, as soon as I fell down, the aches in my arms from doing pushups seemed less noticeable. At least until I try to do anything stupid like raise them to shoulder-height.

And this is all before I embark on this evening's adventure in low-velocity projectile weapons. W00T.


PS: I know, I know, this is totally failing to be a picture of me in schoolgirl outfit. I, um, just don't remember who took pictures of me in the schoolgirl outfit; my attempts at self-portraiture with my camera phone after several beers were... not successful.
