This one is actually news today, I think:

iuliamentis, probably, because she is my source for these things, but I have no idea where she found it) that they are filming one or two of the specials in the US? In San Francisco? Where the Horrible TV Movie was set?
Somehow this led to me being instantly totally convinced that they're going to do a Tenth Doctor-Eighth Doctor crossover thing (Ninth Doctor optional depending on how much I am able to delude myself at any given moment about Eccleston's willingness to come anywhere near the franchise again). Total invention of my head, obviously, but the mere thought made me happy for days.
