past the initial spazzing bit...

Last night, in my paper journal, musing to myself about the stuff I'm trying to write, I said something like "of course, having just spent the last sixteen hours reading eliade I have despaired of achieving 'sexy' and am aiming simply for 'not offputting.'"

Today, the very same eliade, y'know, strongly implied that my story made her feel all quivery and hit her kink buttons and stuff. To say that I, uh, turned into a complete and utter spaz, to the point of saying "Oh my God!" in a way that made my friend, sitting next door playing Animal Crossing, believe that someone had died, would be. Completely true. Also incomplete, but you get the idea.

Am now trying to figure out the etiquette of even having read said entry in her journal, nevermind finding a way to respond to it, since she wasn't, like, addressing me.

Also, realized that there is stuff in that fic that I'm clearly totally failing to get across, which... could be bad, in the long run, since it and its sequels are what I'm writing for the foreseeable future. I'm sure it'll sort itself out. Eventually.
