well, huh.
It occurred to me tonight--in a "I knew that, but not in quite so many words" way--that the real reason I don't want to do the Dira Sudis Story Hour is that I am basically a crazy cat-hoarding lady when it comes to fic bunnies. It doesn't matter how diseased/feral/overcrowded they are, they are MINE and I am KEEPING THEM. Every story that I actually like enough to want to share with people I also like enough to keep entertaining the delusion that I might someday actually write it (see also: why I will probably never WIP Amnesty that thousand words of Stargate fic labeled 'ot3gypt').
Which is to say: my brain is rebounding in a truly horrendous way from writing happy silly Panic fic, and I don't want to tell you about it for all the wrong reasons.
