Both squeeing and anti-squeeing under the cut, for those who require all one or the other, or for them to at least be segregated into separate sentences.
Okay so I was having all of these thoughts like OH CAAAAAAAAAAAAAS YOU ARE MY FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVORITE and OH DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAN and OH SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM and ANNA YAY and BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYS and How do I score the relative *facepalm* and not-*facepalm* of the awesome female character getting to save the day by killing the wicked black man? but then, then there was the promo.
And suddenly all I can think is WAIT I HAVE READ THAT FANFIC, IT WAS PRETTY AWESOME. Um. So despite what I was saying earlier in the season I am ready for whiplash-inducing zany hijinks now. kthx.
Seriously, though, show, you need to stop giving me such totally intoxicating doses of WOOBIE and OH HONEY and HEY, LOOK, THEY'RE KIND OF HAVING THAT TALK ABOUT THE WRONGNESS OF TORTURE at the same time you're getting your squicky racism all over the place. Actually, if you could just stop getting your squicky racism all over the place (and your squicky misogyny, although, hey, little uptick there since last week) that would be even better.
ETA: Also a possibly unfathomable point of continuity, but did Sam say, just before Ruby fed him some blood, that it had been weeks and he needed to find Dean? Er?
