+ Okay! So your Deus Ex Machina there is an actual Deus. I guess we'll let you have that one, then, Sammy's instant methadone and all. (Plus: withdrawal would have been kind of tedious. And fatal, from what I remember.) So, okay! God saved them! Own your religious framework! \o/

+ HOLY CRAP CASTIEL GETTING HIS SMITE ON I HAVE NO WORDS

- Fangirl. DIE IN A FIRE ERIC KRIPKE. Oh my God I was ready to gouge out my own eyes and ears if that scene went on any longer, and I am deeply and profoundly creeped out on a couple of levels and, um, moving the hell on.

+ I started agreeing with Lucifer there. Holy shit Nick's fall was well done. A++ would invite the devil in again.

- Well, there goes the planet.

+ BOBBY. BEST. DAD. EVER. I wanted more hugs but I always want more hugs.

- BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYS. RIFT. (Except, okay, yes: there needs to be a rift, they deserve a rift, but... it's going to get better, right? Right.)

+ STILL. FAMILY.

- cofax7 was right, they dropped a plot point. And it was all I could think about from the moment the Impala appeared. *g*


I would seriously rather hang out with Lucifer than Zachariah--I can't really get over how well done that was. And holy crap Castiel affects my heartrate. And, as iulia says, is a bit jarring after a summer of following wacky world-dominating Misha on twitter. :)

I think Cindy got incinerated along with the car and the convent, actually. (The Impala was never at the convent.) And withdrawal would have been fun. (Y'know. In the way the parts of Mystery Spot that weren't played for laughs were fun.) Other than that, my reaction post looks a lot like yours.

I spent all episode flailing and hoping Castiel would show up in... this scene! Okay, the next one! ...Next one! Come on, Cas! Dean needs to know you're okay! And then he arrived in a whirlwind of unspeakable pwnage, with that flashing neon sign telling Zachariah "God's on my side, bitch", and I 'bout died.

Nick and Lucifer were amazing, and I look forward to more Satanic mind-games this season.

And oh, yeah, the scene with Nick and Lucifer just blew my mind, SO GOOD. I can't wait to see what they do with this!
