So I saw this secret (from here) and I didn't scoff, really, I just kind of went, "Uh, whatever, secretmaker" and got on with my generalized state of Dean/Castiel/yesplz.

zimshan's post linked in this evening's newsletter: 'How to End the World': Sharing Blame and Responsibilities in the context of Choice and Free Will in the SPNverse.
And then in that particular frame of mind, I watched tonight's episode and was all WHY DIDN'T ELLEN HUG/SLAP SAM TOOOOOOO WHY DOESN'T DEAN LISTEN WHY DOESN'T HE TELL SAM TO STAAAAAY--
OH MY GOD SAM SHOULD GET TO HAVE SEX WITH CASTIEL, HE REALLY SHOULD. FUCK YOU ANYWAY, DEAN, YOUR WORLD-WEARILY SELF-RIGHTEOUS ASS WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ANGEL ORGASMS IF THEY BIT YOU IN THE FACE.*
Uh. Yeah, idek. But now I want to write Sam/Castiel. Actually for largely the same reasons I wrote There's a Design last year. So, nice and predictable I guess. On the bright side probably nothing will come of it because I am going to spend the next month trying to rearrange a story (Southland) designed entirely by means of "I don't know, this looks shiny, put that in" into a coherent, you know. Narrative thing. So hopefully no SPN fic until ... sometime later.**
* Yes, obviously Dean also has a point, but it's all going his way right now--um, inasmuch as anything can be said to be going anyone's way during the damn apocalypse--so, you know. I'm a contrarian.
And yes, that is a frighteningly mixed metaphor up there with the ass and the orgasms and the face. Um. Sorry.
** Why yes those do sound like famous last words. *knocks wood*
