so. tired.
Moving sucks, and six or fewer hours of sleep three nights in a row sucks as much or more. But the fact that ikea.com won't tell me anything about shipping charges - and the fact that I went crazy and ordered some stuff anyway - sucks most of all.
Lots of things are good, though. Like, our apartment is starting to look habitable. We have throw pillows, and a coffee table, and an iron and ironing board (stored in, yes, The Coat Closet!), and a toaster that's not in the back of my car, and the hamster is out of the kitchen, and I have a bed. So those are all good things. My Sports Night DVDs turned out to have been packed with the video game stuff and were not lost. I have hooks in my closet to hang things on, and a spiffy collapsible hamper. And the bjillion boxes blocking the last two empty bookcases in the 'dining room' (we don't have a table, so it's where our desks and some bookshelves go, instead...) are all empty. If I could just get #2 Brother to come take them away, we'd be all set. And now that we've been in the new place for three days, I think I can safely say: I didn't go crazy at any time during this move, so hurray for that.
Also, how did TorCon get to be two weeks away? Whoa.
