Unrelatedly, you know how--I don't know if this actually happens, or if it is strictly a thing that happens to people on TV, but I am in fandom and TV is where my ideas about the emotional lives of other people come from--but you know how sometimes women get stressed and then get radical new haircuts?

Yeah, I bit off all my nails two days ago and now I am thinking of changing my default icon.

You know how there are grammar guides that use fannish examples?

I want a guide that uses fannish examples of good and bad poll design, and of deriving statistics therefrom.

Fannish examples make EVERYTHING better. Although if Nate Silver decided to explain polls using fannish woobies he might be in actual danger from the stampede of fangirls in love. :)
