Looking ahead

So I've embarked upon a rewatching-Doctor-Who project, since Eleven's debut is coming right up next week. It would be doomed at this point, since I'm still in season two, except that I work for a Catholic school so I'm off work for Easter weekend as of noon on Thursday.

(Not, as I just typed "noon on Tuesday". Dear Sheryl Crow, I want those brain cells back, love, the mid-90s.)

ANYWAY, rewatching, and here is the thing, okay:

I don't think I can get through "The End of Time" again without an honest-to-fuck drinking game.

Is there one anywhere? Would anyone like to make one up in the comments? HELP.


PS, My tattoo is healing very nicely, which is to say that it itches quite a lot right now. Many thanks to you all for the advice. I think the most important tattoo-aftercare epiphany I had, once I'd got it, was "Chill the fuck out, it's not an organ transplant, your ridiculous baby brother has managed this successfully like twelve times."


And then I figured out the auto-timer on my camera and then I took my shirt off.



Tada!

Your tatt is fabulous, I love it. I'm glad you asked for advice because I'm getting my first one soon (the design's being drawn at the moment) and I was really nervous. I like your epiphany and will borrow it if I may!

Ooh, your tattoo remains awesome, and I love the way the font makes it look like an older typeface, which I somehow didn't quite twig to until now. Also I love that you took the photo in front of bookshelves. (Temeraaaaaaaaire! <3)

It's actually as direct as possible a transfer off the page from my copy of the Four Quartets--so, yeah, I love the typeface. :)

(The bookshelves are the easiest way to get a picture of my back with the auto-timer--at a ninety-degree angle from that shelf is another one at shoulder-height, so I can set the camera on it.

Also, YAY TEMERAIRE IS IT TIME FOR BOOK SIX NOW?)

Ooh, NICE. I didn't realise that aspect at all, that is fantastic. :D

(Ahh, gotcha! I tried to put my camera on top of my tv the other day for similar reasons, as it's a good height vs my face, and then realised - luckily in time - the top of the tv is NOT ACTUALLY LEVEL. Oops.
