Monday, off to a very Monday start.

This post from Diana Gabaldon's blog regarding fanfic is kind of depressing, partly because I had not realized the lady in question felt quite that way about the matter, and partly because I will now inevitably spend the rest of the day composing ever more perfect replies which I will never actually post.

Dammit, Monday.

oh, that is funny. I hadn't seen that. I hope someone points out to her that her main protagonist is himself an example of transformative work.

I don't think that would convince her of anything. She seems to believe that doing replace-all on characters' names is sufficient camouflage.
