Sooooo I had a sex scene I'd been putting off and putting off and putting off writing because I hate writing them. And I thought, I know! I will use it as tonight's 750words.com words, because that keeps me on task and makes me keep writing.

And, okay, I got the scene written! It's pretty first-drafty and a little elliptical, but it's the scene that needed writing, more or less...





...I feel like I may need to do some editing. (Topics that did not come up on the topic analysis include "Relationships", which is sort of alarming, but on the bright side also "Death", which I get nearly every time.)

Wow, I know a few people writing the 750 words daily, but I didn't know that the site would do this. Analysis of the words...who'd have thunk it? :)

I'm glad you didn't get "Death" in your sex scene analysis. ;)

Oh, yes, all this and more! Also word clouds, graphs of typing speed, assorted other writing analyses comparing e.g. your use of swear words, adverbs, and negation to the average of people on the site, and little animal badges for length-of-writing-streak and a few other accomplishments, like not getting distracted while writing your 750.

It is, in short, all the enticement a nerd girl needs to keep writing every day, even if it keeps her up past bedtime. Er, at least for me.

And, right? Because I got Death in the scene where there was baby-cuddling and quiet conversation, and that was bad enough.
