Number of them that are definitely sex scenes: 1 (...Hope you like cuddles.)

Amount of time I have spent pondering stuff that happens way, way after the end of the story instead of writing the goddamn story: Let's not even talk about it. (Unless you are on IM in which case LET'S SPEND LOTS OF TIME TALKING ABOUT IT SO I DON'T HAVE TO WRITE.)

Since you're writing a babyfic, and I just recorded the relevant scene in Jigsaw this week (progress! very slowly being made!), I am going to be annoying and nitpicky and tell you that it's not recommended to microwave baby bottles. (Because of uneven heating; yes, you can shake it, but too easy to forget that kind of thing in sleep-deprived states. For breastmilk it also has some suboptimal effects on the milk, but I assume in either story that wasn't an issue.)

Huh, I did not realize that. Clearly I have been hanging out with daredevil parents. :) out of curiosity (and because I am writing dudes who care about SOP), what is the recommended way to quickly warm up a bottle?

Also, yay progress on Jigsaw! Go you!

Quickest is probably a steam-based bottle warmer; you can also use a bowl/tap stream of warm water. Apparently some babies will take cold bottles; I've never tried it but I'm guessing it would be easier the further removed from breastfeeding they were.

I am in to hour five (though I have yet to check hour four for errors) and about 60% through! I may only be able to record in 15-minute increments but eventually they add up. :)

(And I would be glad to answer further baby questions if needed.)

Thanks! I have now spent way too much time contemplating the most in-character and narratively uncomplicated method for bottle-heating, but I suppose it's better to know this sort of thing than not. *g*

Getting back into the swing of writing regularly, now that life is settling down a little bit (which of course means I'm getting some new responsibilities at work, which will probably throw me right off again *g*).
