1) The thing I forgot to include in my last post:



Earlier this week I earned the "double flock" badge on 750words.com, which means that I've written a quarter of a million words on the site in the last two years since starting there. \o/

2) After trying off and on to fit it to every pairing/character I've been obsessed with interested in in the last four years or so, I have finally assigned Iron & Wine's "Resurrection Fern" pretty firmly to the Nate and Brad I'm writing about right now.

Uh. Sorry, guys. Things will get better, I promise.

We gave the world what it saw fit
And what'd we get?

Like stubborn boys with big green eyes
We'll see everything:
In the timid shade of the autumn leaves
And the buzzard's wing
