Missing Persons Chapter 18: the photo-essay

Lo these many (four and a half) years ago, I posted a Numb3rs epic called Missing Persons which included, in the 18th chapter, after many other adventures, Don and Charlie visiting White Sands National Monument. I've never actually been within several hundred miles of there, and finding other people's vacation pictures was slightly more difficult back in 2007 when I was writing it, so it was based mostly on... man, I have no idea. I remember looking at Google Satellite images, and probably I checked the park's website?

Anyway, [personal profile] lovesrain44 has improved on my research by visiting and walking in Don and Charlie's footsteps, and she's posted photos with the relevant fic excerpts! Go! Enjoy! Feel warm for a minute!

I posted in the summer of 2008, but I think I wrote that bit in 2007, yeah. Maybe even earlier, there was kind of a Zeno's Paradox thing going on toward the end. *g*

There is such a thing as Numb3rs fic! It was a small but persistent fandom through the first three or four seasons of the show at least.

Uh... quite a lot of the fic is Don/Charlie, mind you. Including quite a lot of mine. *g*
