Tuesday Good Things

1. Listening to the church across the street chime the hour.

2. A cloud-veiled moon worthy of Beacon Hills, hopefully without the ominous portents.

3. Baklava. Mmmmmmm Baklavaaaaaaaaaa.

4. I ran further this morning than I ran on Sunday in the same time, and on Sunday I had run further than I ran on Friday in the same time. \o/

5. ...While listening to the dudes from my favorite college football blog deconstruct the fairly terrible performance of my football team in their most recent game.

My last two apartments have both been within a block of a Catholic church with regular bells--possibly some kind of sign, idk. g

I was about to get all theological and ramble on at you about how it's a call to church, if by church I mean "connection to the divine" rather than "Church-with-a-capital-C," but, um. I realize it's a sensitive subject? So how about this: lucky you getting to live within earshot of such beauty!

I do quite enjoy the bells, though!

YAY running further in the same amount of time! That's awesome!

I just actually went and mapped it and realized that I ran a little more than a 5K as my regular morning run, so now I feel extra-triumphant! \o/
