The other development is that Aral and Cordelia both had gametes frozen for storage years ago; Cordelia is now contemplating having more children. She also offers Jole the opportunity to have a child that is essentially his and Aral’s.

This could mean Cordelia carrying Aral & Jole's genetic baby, of course, but you know, I kind of think mpreg. PREGNANT ADMIRAL JOLE KICKING ASS IN SPACE. SECRET MISSION SECRET MISSION.

I mean, actually I think this is precisely what uterine replicators are made for? So nobody has to be pregnant at all. That didn't work out great for Cordelia last time, and I can't imagine it going better now that she's north of 70, and I don't see Oliver wanting to fit that particular radical bodily experience into his life at this point.

No, but literally, imagine a panic-inducing action thriller where Cordelia has to literally CARRY around the uterine replicator with the Aral-Jole minibaby, like a trunk, while on the run from space pirates or something. Do you catch my drift.

Jole and Cordelia running about with a baby trunk in space. Intrigue. Adventures. Fixing space-tech wheels on the trunk. You know.

Ha! I think you are WILDLY overestimating how much I enjoy imagining action-adventure plots. Because the actual amount is more or less zero. :)
