So, I'm going to try and figure out how many songs I've downloaded and become attached to because of fic, because I know it's more than five, and therefore it's probably a Thing.

Annie Lennox - Love Song for a Vampire (Repossession)
Sarah McLachlan - Ice Cream (Better Than Chocolate by Spikedluv)

Bruce Cockburn - Pacing the Cage (Near Wild Heaven)

Plus the three other Bruce C. songs I downloaded (because why stop?), four Bruce Springsteen mp3s downloaded because the above story made reference to them listening to The Boss, and an mp3 of the actual song "Near Wild Heaven" by REM, which I was already loved but don't have on cd, and wanted to listen to while reading the story. Plus "Look of Love" by ABC, which is one of those random 80's songs I wouldn't otherwise have thought to get, but was already familiar with.

And honorable mention for Incubus - Nice to Know You, which, ten minutes after being downloaded just because the chorus was stuck in my head, became imprinted upon my mind as the soundtrack to possibly the most depressing slashfic I ever didn't finish reading, End of the Road by Kat Allison
