This week in writing, 12/17
This has not been, as they say, my week, my month, or even my year. My plan for next week is to accept that this is Not Working right now and try stuff like… not staring at my computer for hours each day fighting the urge to cry because I am The Worst, since that does not reallllly seem to be getting me anywhere lately.
WIPs currently active: 6, because I gave up on a few things BUT have so far resisted the urge to start writing other, worse things.
Words written this week: 1,073
WIPs that got no words this week: 4 - TINSOB, Slavefic #6, Jack/Bitty kidfic, Jack/Bitty a/b/o sequel, and really technically an infinite number of things I also did not write like “a story titled from any song on James Taylor’s 1991 album New Moon Shine” and “the Yuletide story I defaulted on” and “ooh ooh I came up with a depressing Check, Please! bunny that’s oddly Johnson-centric!” and so on.
WIPs that did get words this week:
Fandom Loves Puerto Rico Bitty/Jack kinkfic: 638, and someday I will figure out how to arrive at a conclusion to this story! Probably. On the other side of some porn. I am still working on it, @brb-theres-cookies, I swear!
All Eternals Deck #2: 435, after deleting like… six times that many words. Someday I will figure out how to write this story and have it be coherent. Or I will embrace that there is never going to be anything coherent about the first 24 hours Bruce and Bucky spend together and figure out how to write THAT. IDK.
