Last night, what with one thing and another, I got around to watching an episode of The OC on TV, in real time, the first time it aired. Wild, huh?
Did anybody else want to hit Seth in the face with a brick? I mean, not just for the satisfaction of hitting him in the face with a brick, although that would be considerable. And not because then when Ryan collected him at that sad little diner his face would be all cut up and bruised and Ryan would be worried about him - but trying to act like he's not worried, like he believes for a second that Seth is a big boy and can take care of himself - but later, when they got home, he could clean the scrapes and never, never ask Seth what the hell happened or who hit him in the face with a brick or why, and Seth would be uncharacteristically quiet on the topic, biting his lip as Ryan's fingers brushed across his face.
Um.
Where was I?
Oh. Yeah.
Not just for any of those reasons, did I want to hit Seth in the face with a brick, but because Seth? Really, really needs to be hit in the face with a brick at this point. As a learning experience. Or maybe he could wake up to find himself tied down in his bed, and then Summer and Zach could beat him with bars of soap in the ends of their socks. Zach would be sort of half-hearted--you know this was Summer's idea--and Summer is, wow, Little Miss Vixen with a bar of soap and a tube sock, and Seth is, well, tied to the bed, so you know he can't hide anything and then--
No. No. Learning experience. Not threesome. Right. Ahem.
My point here is, Seth. Needs to be punished. And not (just) in a sexy way. For his own good. That is my point, and it is mine, and wild horses could not drag me from it.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to stare into space for a little while.
Oh and check out my OC icon! Thanks,
