T-minus 17 hours!
So I'm doing laundry and packing. And I wrote out my itinerary for my roommate, and called my mom, and I've got everything that's not in the dryer packed. Still need to confirm the only actual hotel I'm staying in, and pay my credit card bills. And shuffle the cds around with car visor whosit, once my car gets back. And backup my computer, one last time before I leave (my roommate thinks I'm insane to take it, but I don't think I could cope with being separated from Mark Pierre for 12 days). I'm probably forgetting something. But. Whee! Packing!
Have written something like 5500 words on the kidfic in the last four days, which is also exciting. Of course it's an epic of completely insane proportions, so that's pretty much a drop in the bucket, but. Progress! er, does anybody want to test-read this? because it's getting to the point of needing it.
And I finished that incomplete sentence in scene 17 of the Counting the Days sequel. Eventually, I might even finish scene 17. And scenes 18-44, too. That'd be kind of cool. I'm hoping to do a lot of writing in the next week and a half, so hopefully this story will benefit (and when I get home I'll be unemployed, and then I'll have nothing but time! I mean, I'll be very busy, filling out applications and going to interviews and possibly working at some interim crap job that will turn out to last all year...)
