So NEW VORKOSIGAN BOOK INCOMING, right, so iulia and I were talking about all the trivial silly things we want from the book, updates on various babies and love lives and so on, and moved from there to pining for A Book All About Aral Vorkosigan In Which Aral Vorkosigan Does Not Die, and from there, naturally, to:

Aral Vorkosigan/Jack Harkness

I mean, it wouldn't last but a night or so, but god damn would it be a memorable night.

Miles was still fairly young when he realised that Uncle Jack was sleeping with his mom *and* his dad. He didn't think anything of it, because he liked his Uncle Jack and whenever he visited, his mom and dad seemed to enjoy themselves.

It was always after, when Uncle Jack left again and nobody seemed to know when he'd return next, that he thought maybe it would be better if things were different. They should move to Beta Colony and they could all three get married and be happy.

And it would make Aunt Alys would be happy, because she seemed to always be angry at Uncle Jack for being a bad influence on his cousin, Ivan.
